September 1, 2012 – September 2, 2011, the eighteenth United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Leather and Leather Products Working Group meeting was successfully held in Shanghai. Leather experts and representatives from the United Nations, UNIDO and China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Australia, India, Ethiopia, more than 20 countries and regions attended the meeting.
The meeting made a series of substantive results, carbon footprint calculation defined and form the official text of the leather industry.
