—Is suede durable in rain?—

Suede can be durable in rain if properly cared for.

While suede is not suited for extremely wet conditions, it can be worn in light to moderate rain. The key to ensuring that suede stays durable in rain is to make sure it is protected with a waterproofing spray before wearing it outside. This spray creates a barrier between the suede and the water, preventing the material from becoming soaked and damaged.

In addition, if suede gets wet, it is important to let it dry naturally and avoid using heat sources, which can cause the material to crack. Gently brushing the material with a suede brush can also help to restore its texture and appearance.
